Alright all, amazing how this news has spread all kinds of stories about threats and violence. Thankfully none of that happened.
It was licensing issues. The mixes on the album are a bit different than those on Skid-ip and Greensleeves own that material. It wasn't worth the hassle to pursue the project, long story. Yes we lost money and quite a bit of faith along the way, but we'll continue on with other things. It was certainly an education going through the bollock ache and we've learnt some important lessons along the way to hopefully avoid this kind of thing in the future. I even fell out of love with reggae for a bit...

Clearly the easiest way to re-release reggae is to simply make sure that no-one with deep pockets owns the rights and just go ahead and bootleg it in a country that isn't Jamaica. Most of the time they can't stop you. Simples...
