Hi,
Anyone know a dub with the chorus "rise and shine" in it? I remember it sounding like Scientist and it may use the Peter Broggs "rise & shine" but I'm not sure.

Nup,
I can't find it - doesn't matter. A DJ used to start his program on 3RRR Sydney,Ras Gabriel I think, years ago and I was trying to remember what it was . Saw your post on "MD in Japan" couldn't find it either. Are they as good as Itals.. similar vein? I don't have anything by them yet.

There has been a 12" of Bunny Wailer's 'Rise & Shine' on the Solomonic Label in 1981. It contains a Version which is not too much dub but the chorus comes in quite frequently.
Maybe this is the one you're looking for but I am afraid this record is nowadays very hard-to-get.

Hugh Mundell made an album "Arise". (A showcase, including dub versions). If I remember well there was "(a)Rise and Shine" in the chorus as well. Do you know which singer?

well, if everyone tries let me do it too. You'd probably have recognized his voice if it was one of his songs but there is also a IJahMan song called Rise and shine on Africa (1984), also a live version, why not a dub one ..
Anyway, let's all rise and shine children
