Well that year, that studio, that band. Just my favorite combination of age/style, band and studio. I've never heard a Roots Radics-backed album from the early/mid 80s that I didn't love. That's just me thought. But 1982 at Channel One with the Roots Radics can't be wrong imho. And I really dig Edi Fitzroy's voice and vocal style.

Yes re-issue please!

Edit: I just realised, you thought I meant it CAN NOT be great. But what I meant was it can not NOT be great = it can only be great, can't be bad.

What he didn't mean wasn't that it wouldn't be any bad. Bad meaning good. I think. Never got around to understand that hip hop talk of today's youth.

The Gussie P is a new dub mix to the rhythms of the Edi LP I think. Good to hear that the original dub LP is likely to get reissued. A brilliant vocal album that one and much owing to the rhythms with Radics at their best.

Hi Gabranth, guess I got it ;-)
