Hello Meaent1/Michelle

Just wondering if Reggae George has thought about a compilation of his early works?

They sell on EBay etc for huge sums of money (check out the site www.popsike.com )

Here's a link to RG's tunes http://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch. ... &x=12&y=16

for instance 1 of his 7" went at auction for GBP500.00!!!!

Of course George is missing out on this money at present.

Some of the highly sought after & long unavailable tunes by Reggae George are:

Reggae George - My Eyes - Cry Tuff 7"
Reggae George - Take A Ride - Classic 12" (Canadian label)
Reggae George - Vision - Flemming or Davy 7"
Reggae George - Genesis To Revelation - MCM 7"
Reggae George - Three Wicked Men - Yvonne's Special 12"/S & W Soul King Records (synth overdubs) 12"
Reggae George - Fight On My Own - Sky Juice LP

These are tunes that any serious reggae collector would snap up instantly if they had the chance.

I hope all goes well for his new release.
Utmost respect

"Reggae George - Three Wicked Men - 56 Hope Road 12""

i recall having seen it only on 7" on that lable
but it was released on different formats&lables

personnaly of all the releases i prefer the 12" on yvonne's special lable
the extra dub on the flip is murda
altho i have heard shaka play the canadian release (if you like the synth go for that one or the emmanuel release)

i guess the repress 7" on emmanuel music shouldnt be that hard to find and cheap (after a quick google http://www.juno.co.uk/artists/Reggae+Ge ... of_stock=1)

"Reggae George - Fight On My Own - Sky Juice LP"

was also released on 7"

Vinnie, I think I made an error listing 3 Wicked Men as a 12" on 56 Hope Rd. I think they did a 7" release.

cheers

p.s didn't want anyone going on a wild goose chase looking for the 56 Hope Rd 12" :~

I have MIX UP LP, which i have always enjoyed.
Especially NO FUSS, NOR FIGHT.
Got it on Vinyl (Trojan) about 25+ years ago, and it still gets a spin.
Would like to hear more from him.
