but Joe Grine AKA Grind is specifically a guy who entertains married ladies. a "gyalist" might be a better term for a guy who is popular with ladies in general

"what sweet to nanny goat will run belly" - old JA proverb, too much of anything good, or anything in general is not good for you.... to "run yuh belly" is to get diarrhea.

More too come
Bushmaster is a brand of AR-15 rifle, semi-auto civilian version of the M-16... in 1979-80 there was a flood of surplus US M-16's that arrived in JA, the Bushmaster was a cheap alternative to other AR's like Colt at the time for those who had no access to an M-16, uses same ammo and mags as M-16.

2006 thread, but Champion Bubbler is still not explained? What's up with that? Champion Bubbler is a lady who can shake her fat butt very well so that it "bubbles" a lot.

I've also heard the term being used for a great deejay as well.

"Bubbling" was a dance, and a "champion bubbler" referred to a great dancer, plain and simple, nothing more. Fat backsides aren't even required, but a bit of heft helps the motion.

Some DJs would say that they "bubble pon the riddim" with lyrics over the microphone, but they were never referred to as "champion bubblers", that was a term strictly for dancers.

Not so sure about bubblers just meaning dancing, the "UK Bubblers" label name surely referred to the music, but presumably the music for bubbling to so I think it's a draw between Kalcidis and davek on this!
