I'm not sure how many people have used the riddim. The lyrics go as follows:
we are living in the land of the father
we are living in heart of the almighty
Something like that. If anyone knows the song please let men know
Thanks

Re: DENNIS BROWN SONG
There are two cuts from the same period (early 80's). A J Gibbs one (got it on JGM 12") and a A Clarke one (got it on Hawkeyes 12"). The Joe Gibbs produced has an uncredited deejay on the second part, could be Trinity.
The tune was really populare then and you can hear it on plenty sound systems tapes from early 80's. You have a good exemple of such sound systems live gigs with this tune played on the "Brigadier Jerry Live At Thje Control At Jack Ruby" (Dancehall Rec). On this one Brigadier Jerry also toast over the "Trouble World" tune also by DEB.

Re: DENNIS BROWN SONG
Roddy, I'll listen to the tape later. Actually I already had it, but with a slighty different deejay list.
To be honnest I love deejays on sound systems tapes but not that much on disc. I still love a lot on disc early deejay biz (ie Treasure Isle material) and early digit (ie I do prefer the deejay cut to the singer cut for Jammy's 85/90 period). For that reason, I can't comment the alternative deejay list I have, cause I don't (and I can't in most of the time) really spot who's who on the session...
So, I'll listen the tape and tell you which cut it is.

Re: DENNIS BROWN SONG
I have that tune on a King Culture 12" with Hugh brown credited as the deejay plus a version on the flip. Briggy, on that Live LP mentioned above, sings the same lyrics as the U-Brown..." keep yuh hands in yuh pocket and rock it!.." good stuff!! ADambom
