Dear users,
after a short first night of testing, we had to delete something like 20 new spam threads this morning
we don't have any other choice than changing the new users permission ; in consequence :
New users will have to wait for a mod approval for their first message
this does NOT apply to already registered users
all the best

Great news, hopefully the reactivated forum will be an (even) better place for seeking and sharing information!

Thank you for doing something about the spam. For the longest time I had thought (and was very vocal about it) that you had cut this site loose and didn't care. I am very glad that you have proven me wrong, and not for the first or last time I am sitting down to some humble pie
Thank you for still caring about this beautiful website
