Which non Jamaican reggae artists bands do you like?

I've been listening to a lot of Tiken Jah Fakoly from France quite a bit recently, he's got a great voice.

An even better singer for me though is Alpha Blondy and if you haven't heard it, I'd strongly recommend his album 'Jerusalem'.

I still love all of Alpha's albums from the 80s and early 90s.

Tiken's music's great too. It just sounds a little... I don't know, too new for me or something. Kinda stuipid, I know, but it's just my taste I guess.

Yeah, like you say it's a matter of taste.

Dry & Heavy from Japan have made some nice tracks (see below), but some of their other stuff is not to my taste. Their lead singer Likkle Mai is so cute
