Is this a genuine release? Or another of Jamaican Recordings bogus releases?

I noticed this one the other day but haven't listened to the sound clips yet I just assumed it was one of the modern remixes from the master tapes rather than some lost dub album or collection of b'sides.

We could really use a thread somewhere that looks at every Jamacian recordings/ Kingston sounds release and tries to work out if it's legit.

Last week I got their revolutionaries at channel 1 dubplate album which is clearly modern remixes and I absolutely love it, it is the mellowest record I have ever heard

The bogus releases of Jamaican Recordings have on the back cover the text "Unreleased Recordings"

This one doesn't. It's not bad at all, but I do dislike the abundance of vocals and won't give it a second spin

I guess at the end of the day, whether a release is genuine or bogus, it all comes down to if or not you like the music.

I have generally not bothered with the Jamaican recordings CDs because there are lots of other releases that I am looking for and tend to save my money for when they come along.

Having said that I did get "Shalom Dub" and that is superb.

Agreed! Trying to sort through all their releases can be tiring (there are so many)-- the nice thing is that they are all very reasonably priced so I always figure if I waste a couple bucks on a gimmicky-sounding album (as I did with "Lost Treasures of the Black Ark"), no big deal.

I've actually posed this related question before to no avail: anyone know if the JR reissue of Bunny Lee's "Creation of Dub" LP is true to the original or a "re-mix"? Much thanks.
