I can't see to find any information online about Jah Jah Children they sound kinda like a UK roots group to me. Anyone know anything about them or these LPs?

I'd never heard about this reggae band. You're right when you say this group seems a UK roots group because I just listened to the songs from the link and I can notice they have that style. Something that attract my attention is that they have two songs in Spanish.

I saw the two in another language, I wasn't sure what language it was being completely language inept, thanks for that.airofjah wrote:I'd never heard about this reggae band. I wonder what the story is with this band, they seem to have made two albums that sound late 70s early 80s to me and they seem to have no pressence online at all. I wonder if these albums were actually ever rleased as LPs
So many questions

I found some more info regarding this.
It's not a UK group, according to to this page: http://www.rockhechovenezuela.com/jahjahchildren.htm
It's a venezuelan group formed by Jamaincans living in Venezuela during the 80's. the members are: Keith Thomas (bass), Lennox Telesford (vocal, backing vocal, keyboard), Erick Mitchell (vocal, rhythm guitar, backing vocal), William Mitchell (guitar, backing vocal, bass), Peter Thomas (Drums, Percussion) y Paul McQueen (Lead vocal, percussion, backing vocal). Kinda nice surprise : -)
