I wasn't very impressed with that one for whatever reason....my all time favorite is hard to say, but if I had to pick one LP to take with me to a desert island, I would most likely pick "Super Ape", only because it sounds different every time I play it!

Yeah, I just gave it another spin, and I did appreciate it more this time around, but still don't think I would say it's anything other than average, IMHO.

All a matter of opinion I guess. Scientist the peoples choice, the real version from 1983 is ultra slick, scientist at his very best.

By far, my favorite dub album is The Upsetters' "Super Ape." Every track on there is fantastic.

I'm not sure if it counts, but every track on Wayne Jarett's "Bubble Up" ends with a dub, and their all really, really good, especially the huge groove on the end of "Holy Mount Zion."

Slum. Gregory Isaacs in dub, now every track is a genuine great. CD has four or five extra tracks on it, all are good.

I guess King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown and Super Ape probably. But I'm a big fan of showcase albums--particularly Wackie's--like Junior Delahaye's "Reggae" Wayne Jarrett's "Showcase" Horace Andy's "Dance Hall Style" and Love Joys "Lover's Rock."
