Hi
Any of you Reggae gurus know what the below release is?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cyber-Rasta-Dub ... ords=cyber
I'm assuming that the tracks are renamed and that this may just be a series of b-sides rather than an actual LP release
Or is it just a compilation with renamed song title?
Any help gratefully appreciated
Cyber Rasta In Dub what is this?

pretty sure its not a release of a well known LP - just a random compilation - I'd say titles given specifically for this release - obviously someone must of known a little of what they were doing as "party time on the enterprise" is a version of the "party time" rhythm

yup, think you right, its annoying though as it so hard to tell with dub whether or not you already have the track or what it should be called if its miss labeled.... pity I think there might be some good tracks on this, but without knowing their proper names I'm not that interested I've bought too many duplicates thanks to renamed Bunny Lee Dubs

Why buy these compilations? I have a hard time thinking they'll include anything that hasn't been released on proper sets that rather likely are available in one way or another.

I guess the point is how would one know? if the track names are made up, I find it impossible to recognize one dub tune from another out of the 17k tracks I own, I can't remember them all, thats why I run the titles of a new purchase through my data base first to check if I already have them, kalcidis wrote:Why buy these compilations? Except there's a track by that name on the (in)famous Heavy Metal Dub. Are they the same?jayb wrote:pretty sure its not a release of a well known LP - just a random compilation - I'd say titles given specifically for this release - obviously someone must of known a little of what they were doing as "party time on the enterprise" is a version of the "party time" rhythm

I don't think so I need to double check that but I'm sure most of these tracks sound earlier and more roots than the heavy metal setvtov wrote:pretty sure its not a release of a well known LP - just a random compilation - I'd say titles given specifically for this release - obviously someone must of known a little of what they were doing as "party time on the enterprise" is a version of the "party time" rhythm
