Off the top of my head out of all the artists I've seen some of the best I can remember were (in no order):
Mighty Diamonds
Johnny Clarke
Sly and Robbie
Luciano - the time with Dean Frazer and Firehouse Crew
Sugar Minott
Beres Hammond
Desmond Dekker
Aswad
Damian Marley
Maxi Priest
Heptones (with Leroy Sibbles finishing by doing a solo slot on bass playing some Studio One riddims)
On a sound system the better ones i remember were:
Tippa Irie
Brigadier Jerry
Cocoa Tea
Mr Williamz
Domonic
Little John
U Roy
Papa Levy
Loads of others were good but these stand out

Saw Horace Andy on Monday - still brilliant but his voice is maybe an octave lower than in the seventies.
I've seen many of the artists previously mentioned but have never seen and would love to have seen
Augustus Pablo
Burning Spear
Alton Ellis
John Holt (I had a ticket but the gig was cancelled)
Larry Marshall
Johnny Osbourne

How can people not give credit to Lucky Dube live? Singing, dancing, extended versions....real brass for most of his career. Great stuff. Gone too soon.

Re: reggae artists live
Desmond Dekker....his voice sounded as good live as on record. Otherwise Ken Boothe, Toots and the Maytals and...Prince Buster who unfortunately we're unlikely to see play live again
