One saw if the old band called "Lizzard" have change his name for "In crowd"? Cause in the album "we play reggae" of in crowd they have a "milk and honey" song who is EXACTLY the same song that Lizzard "milk and honey", and the voices sound same too, the style too, all! then?

I think it is not the same band. Behind Lizzard was Clive Hunt, and according to me Clive Hunt had nothing to see with In Crowd (the leader came from another island).
I heard In crowd not a long time ago and I was impressed by the resemblance with the english band Matumbi. I much prefer Matumbi, as In crowd is a little flat to me, but Matumbi might have been clearly influenced by them, don't you think ?

The two songs are really same dude! the In crowd version sound as the Lizzard version remasterised! All people having this both albums, try plz and tell me, for me its the same band who sing the both songs... For Matumbi i have never try him lol, but i know that he is ok, i need to know the good album names for start with him...

In Crowd was the band based around drummer/singer Fil Callender, nothing to do with Clive 'Azul' Hunt, the producer who made that album for Trojan in '76.

I know the Lizzard version and I don't think the voice is similar to the In Crowd's one, Lizzard is Clive Hunt, but maybe is In Crowd the backing band on this song for instance.
I don't have all Matumbi albums but the best one I know is Seven seals, 1978. Point of view is also very nice, 1979. The virgin compilation is a good selection. Matumbi is one of the english reggae fathers, they much influenced Steel Pulse for instance. It's the original band of the great Dennis Bovell.

I trust you guys about Lizzard and In crowd but the songs and voices are so similar that im confused, try it! (when you play "milk and honey"/In crowd you think Lizzard play but with a cleaned sound! Damn!)

Lizzard was never a band, its simply a monicker for Clive Hunt, did one album under that name in 1976. Funny this talk of influence between the British band Matumbi and the JA-based In Crowd, I doubt none of them 'influenced eachother at the time - what is actually the similarities?
