bunny wailer "protest"

Post by staas »

hows everyone like this album? i just got it after sort of looking at it in the store for a year and never buying and it's overall a good release i think. i like bunny alot but he can get boring over the course of an lp, less diverse than the other wailers

The "Struggle" lp is a far better release, just check the nyabinghi vibe of "The old Dragon". Anyway "Blackheart man" is his best release of the seventies

Hi PapaDave

I am pleased you say it's a grower as I have this album and have only ever played it once. Best I dust it off and let it grow on me.
Presumably it's nowhere as good as "Blackheart Man".
