I enjoyed the feedback from my last post regarding everyone's favorite Prince Jammy LP, so I figured I would throw this one out there.
If you had to pick one Lee Perry album (including comps like Open The Gate and Disco Devil), what would it be?

Super Ape. Hands down, Lee Perry's finest moment.

Well, that was my very first thought as well. And if you ask me again in ten years it will be still be my very first thought: Super Ape. Not quite a dub album, not quite a vocal album.

I would have to agree. Blackboard is great, so is Return of the Super Ape, but Super Ape is the ONE!

Compilation would be Open The Gate
Original album would be Heptones Party Time with Jolly Brothers coming in a close second.
