with all the reissue labels around, (Trojan, Pressure Sounds, Blood and Fire, etc) what songs/albums/artists would you like to see get the reissue treatment ?
for me, it would have to be
1: a Grove Music compilation
2: an Aswad compilation of songs recorded at Channel One on there own Simba label
3: an Aswad compilation of B sides (Covenant Dub, Stranger, Love Fire Dub etc...)
regards

Hi arize_rootsman
If you are talking about reissue on CD I have just bought "Black Sounds of Freedom" and it contains both "Black Sounds of Freedom" and "Love Crisis" albums.
Apologies, if that wasn't the album you were referring to.

Re: what reissue -
I don't care what gets reissued as long as they master / remaster them properly.
Too many reissues are awful quality. Like the Jetstar re-issues of some King Tubby stuff that are nothing more than a Vinyl LP badly recorded onto CD - clicks and pops and all - might just as well buy the LPs and do it yourself.
Yeah, I know I am a vinyl bore - but good reggae deserves careful treatment when being reissued.

I would like to see a reissue of a LP from 1982 with Junior Reid on vocals.
