Voice of Progress has been reissued this summer and is widely available.

To the topic.....I would like to see the first two Burning Spear albums for Coxsone Dodd.
The first in its original red cover with the green writing on the back on Coxsone label and the second also in the original sleeve on the Forward label and BOTH in their original mixed style !
Off course on high-quality pressings without any 'cracking by the fireside'-sound disturbancies ;)

Good call Bellyman, but given the shockingly poor quality of many Studio One and Cosone re issues (often far worse than the original pressings) I wouldn't hold your breath.

So it'll probably be music with chips (potato fries) frying in the background then....

thats neat, I cant get enough of Peter Broggs. thanks for the info.

Sounds like quite a stupid thing to rename the track to Vampire since the title really doesnt fit the tune. Some kind of typo, Vank Out - Vampire?

Do you know if the Vampire 7" is available anywhere?

Prince Lincoln Thompson and the Royal Rasses-
Ride with the Rasses.

Orange street re-issued some exceptional (no hiss, pops, crackles) Prince Lincoln collections a while back. Hope they continue.

While on the UK side of things. How about a complete Misty in Roots re-issue? The Jah See Jah Knows fetched about 100.00 on eBay recently!

"Arize" hit most of my requests.

I'd add a few:
Cultural Roots-Revolutionary sounds
Cultural Roots-Hell A Go Pop
Rod Taylor-If jah should come
Te-Track-Trouble
Junior Murvin-Badman posse
Junior Murvin-Muggers in the streets.
Lot's of different albums and singles from the GG's label.
Burning Sounds catalog
CSA catalog
as mentioned Vista sounds catalog
I would also like to see more old Aswad. I've been vibing a lot on there old stuff lately. Beautiful albums.
More DATC 12"
70's and 80's U-Brown
more Thompson Sounds productions

There's just way too many titles to remember and list.

As bunch of this stuff I already have but the sound quality is not the best. I will second the notion for the need for higher quality mastering and overall better quality re-issues. I won't even buy Abraham or Trojan stuff anymore. Most of it just stinks.

I'd like to see more of the Wackies catalogue being re issued. They've done a good job so far, both on content and quality, but there are loads of very difficult to find (or VERY expensive to buy) 12 inch mixes that need to be re issued. Stuff like the works of Itopia.
