OK so I have just worked out by listening to tracks on You tube that this album is availble on mp3 see this link

http://www.roots-archives.com/forum/rea ... #msg-97231

and this link

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yabby-Meets-Agg ... 224&sr=8-1

"Yabby You Meets the Aggrovators At King Tubby's Studio" is in fact "The Prophets-King Tubby's Prophecies Of Dub"

Just the track names are all made up and there are some extra tracks in there.

I have just listened to all the tracks on you tube and renamed them and now have a nice copy of The Prophets-King Tubby's Prophecies Of Dub

Question, it says here that Pat Kelly mixed it, is that the same Pat Kelly as in brilliant singer with paragons

The singer and engioneer are the same person, although he sang with The Techniques as opposed to The Paragons. A multi-talented man indeed.

opps

I should know that really, I have quite a few of his solo albums, I love the guy's voice. His dub mixing is damn good too.

I wish more of his solo work was still available

OK so this album is also avialble as disc two of

http://www.roots-archives.com/release/2645

Seems Trojan didn't have a clue what they were releasing as all the tracks are on there with slightly different names

I'm back to think Bunny Lee is an asshole again

I wonder how many times I've bought this album with different track titles that I don't know about

@Congo Bunny
Thanks for this advise, I have done the same and relabelled the tunes and it is a great album now it is in it's original form.

The mastering is a bit all over the place on the Yabby You Meets the Aggrovators At King Tubby's Studio mp3s I got from Amazon with some track quite a bit louder to my ears.

Do the extra tracks that are not the "Prophecies Of Dub" album tracks have any connection to it or they just a random bunch of extra tunes? They have a quite different vibe.

I spent ages on this. I think the versions on foundation of dub are beter quality, but as I recall some of the bbeginnings were clipped off so I uses the fake yabby you mp3's I hadn't noticed the mastering, I might play it tonight to listen

Cool, it is just some of the extra tracks that sound a bit different. The actual tracks that make up the original album, are not great sounding but fit together in terms of sound.
