Hi all,
I enjoy Live Albums like Bob's "Babylon By Bus" and "Live Again!" by Israel Vibration so much, since years I always come back to listen to these two albums. Do you have any reommendations for me with other equally amazing classic live records with roots reggae?

My personal favourites are these three sets which are quite incredible.
[cover=5371] [cover=4531]
(the Swedish one, which is my favourite, I know is available from a store here for £18 or so if anyone is interested -- a bit grubby sleeve but EX disc IIRC)

Many of the best live albums I own are bootlegs. Some great Marley/Wailers live concert bootlegs out there. I'm a big fan of their 75 and 76 tours. Some of the best known are their 75 Chicago Quiet Kight Club concert and a 76 gig in Exeter. Both great live CDs. 8 minute live version of Want More rules. Oh and their concert at the Roxy in LA from 76 has to be mentioned. 25 minute Get up stand up/War/No more trouble Medley!

Yeaaaahh!!! Such nice albums! Thank you so much, I have not had the possibility to hear through all of them so far, but what I heard was very nice, I am glad to have asked this question and instantly gotten such answers.
Misty Over Sweden is a treasure!! Never heard of them before. I listened to this album 3 times now, and love every minute!

All titles named are excellent!
I'd like to add
Alpha Blondy - Live Au Zenith (Paris) 1993
His voice wasn't in the best of shape but the band was marvelous
and album closer 'Benediction' has to be heard to be believed.
I'm also partial to Steel Pulse - Live at Rockpalast 1979.
One of their best early live concerts.
But like many have said,
there're many more....
Peace,
DJ

Yes it's great. As a big Junior Reid fan I always liked his Black Uhuru albums even more than the Michael Rose onesSiegi wrote:Always loved Black Uhuru Live in New York City

There's a strange bootleg CD out there of Uhuru Live. Half of the tracks are by Rose, other half by Reid. Bought it decades ago, never saw it again. There Reid incorporates the introducing-of-the-band in fine singer-style into a 10-minute version of Let us pray. Pure gold!
