This song is titled "House On The Rock", it was released on 12" single with "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", but I don't know the details.

Didn't know she had covered 'Love don't live here'. Must find it! I love her cover of 'Breakfast in bed' it's one of my all-time fave 12 inch 45s! A great dub version of Breakfast in Bed is found on Sylvan Morris % Harry J's excellent Cultural Dub.

I seem to remember seeing her LP on ebay once but got outbid. But maybe I was dreaming...

Maybe the track you seek is also produced by Sylvan M and Harry J so searching their work may help.

If anyone knows where I can get this - let me know. I suspect it is the vocal version of the brilliant 'Cultural Dub' LP by Harry J and Sylvan Morris.

The song is called ' House On The Rock ' written for the artise by Dennis Brown and was recorded in the late 70's but was never released.

Hi Sheila Hylton, not sure if you're the actual artist, maybe yes so it's nice to hear from you.
Unfortunately you're wrong, this song had been released, I have the 12" pressing of House On The Rock and I 100% guarantee that it's the tune that we see recorded at Harry J in the Deep Roots Doc.

Sheila Hylton - House On The Rock b/w Love Don't Live Here Anymore - Carri Blu 12" (UK press, transparent vinyl).
I also saw this tune being (apparently poorly) pressed on an US Jaywax 12".

This is really a killer tune that will mash everything if played on a soundsystem with scoops !

BTW, I didn't knew that DEB wrote the tune.
