As a tribute and because I like the Phase 1 sound so much I decided to record a "Chantells & Friends" mix, featuring tunes that were not included on the Blood & Fire compilation and some songs that were released before Phase 1 was founded. Enjoy!

Very enjoyable that mix was. Obviously, there was a lot more to the label than 'Waiting In The Park' by The Chantells!

Great selection, ColdSweat. The Blood & Fire Phase One collection (Children Of Jah) and the Motion collection (We Are Getting Bad) are both great, but there's still a lot of great Phase One material out there.

Yeah, the Motion sampler is very cool too. I could easily make a second edition of this mix with a whole heap of other great Chantells and friends tracks. The Morwells, next cut Sly and Robbie dubs, more Lebert Bennett, the solo works of Sam Bramwell etc..
