After work on sunday back to the turntable:
This time with one of my fave Studio One Dubs: "Dub Store Special".
Perfect example of mid 70's Dub!

It's a nice album. Has a very nice dub to Madoo's »Hotel Fee« which apparently Coxsone Outernational played a lot. Got my copy without a sleeve (it seems to be a difference of over $100 depending on if it comes with sleeve or not). So I did my own with some letra set and linoleum print.

([this is](https://cdn2.cdnme.se/cdn/9-2/934995/im ... 678123.jpg) before the letraset lettering and some other graphical details)

Mine album of the day has been The Message Dub Wise. Damn that's a fine album!

Most of the times there is a huge difference in price with or without cover. Me too I have some records missing the original cover and in many cases I would dig out half of the complete price for the cover alone.

I saw Magnum Dub a few times available without cover. I guess they pressed far more records than covers. Same thing with "Music Explosion" by the Ethnic Fight Band.

Back on an old school tip today with Derrick Harriott's " Crystal " labelled " Scrub-A-Dub " from 1974 , wicked set of tunes on this disc , some of them instru-dub , quite psychedelic at times ! Followed by part two " More Scrubbing The Dub " ... my copies of these discs are re-issues , not 100% perfect presses but quite adequate . Born to dub them ... :-)

[cover=1352]

Somewhat of a lesser-celebrated dub LP but I really enjoy it- just good, solid late '70s dub, apparently mixed by Prince Jammy with A. Pablo involved to some extent.

I've got Sensimilla dub which seems to be dubs of a lot of the same rhythms (Stop that Train, The Loser, Born to Love You etc). I wonder if they are the same mixes?
