Yes. Both LP's a brilliant and same goes for the Mike Brooks LP you mention. What a killer album it is. I think I've managed to find all cuts of the In the Sun rhythm by now (with the exception of the UK cut that was released in the 90's over the original rhythm – but that one is easily available).

Kalcidis, do you know of more cuts of the rhythm besides the Mighty Threes & Ranking Trevor tune, Peter Metro & Dickie Ranking - Rock So Good (Rhythm Rulers 7"), and Mike Brooks - Love on a Broad Highway (Vista LP and Harvest 12")?
Wait, I see there's this too from those halcyon days when Lee Perry and Roots Radics would wake at 5:00 am to run 3 kilometers on the beach, then spend the rest of the day recording crisp biscuits to rule dancehall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP3QvQVehdY.
Is the UK tune you mention Peter Marshall's Never Give my Heart? Never heard of that one. It's a nice take.

Yeah exactly. The cuts I was thinking of were the ones you mentioned. Didn't know about the "Perry" cut.
The Peter Marshall 10" LP is bad! Some heavy Channel One rhythms on it.

Last LP I bought? Songs of Love & Hardship by Earl Sixteen. It represents hardship for me, since I didn't check the exchange rate on Swiss Francs when I bought it and paid WAY too much money for it!

Reggae Fever I guess, great site with an excellent service, killer postage prices though which does make the product much more expensive.Mick Sleeper wrote:Last LP I bought? 12" Civilian - Down South (Union Records)
12" Cultural Roots - Blackie Blackie (Hawkeye)
12" Barry Brown - Tourist Season (Real Wax Records)
12" Ronnie Davis & The Itals - Some Time (Steppers)
