Natty Dreadlocks in England White Label Single from UK?

Post by Randy Lancelot »

I'm also curious if anyone can help me figure out some info on an old Rootsy/Dub Reggae single I obtained many years ago. It is a sort of rough pressing that has a white label and has 2 fairly Dubbed out versions of a song whose main lyrics include "Natty Dreadlocks in thy England....(something something something something)" and has a trumpet doing the main licks. There is a deadwax etching of FY 005 A/B and that's it. I got it in the mid 80's with a collection of other punk stuff that dated to the 70's. It sounds to be pretty old school in recording and instrumentation, so I doubt it's an 80's record (no synths). I did searches for the title with no luck so I'm hoping it might have been something played in someone's youth. Thanx. RL
