I am not familiar with Mutabaruka, so unlikely. It's somewhere in my collection I am sure, but that is currently topping 2000 songs. I will update if and when I stumble on it, but I know it exists somewhere. The song itself is otherwise fairly unremarkable from what I remember.
Very curious about it! Let us know

Ah yes, Muta did a song with a very similar lyrics, cant remember the track name now. Actually I heard the muta first when I was a kid many years ago, and I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard the horsemouth version around 2 years ago!!

It could be "Whey Mi Belong" from "Check It" but I haven't played it for a very long time...

"Dutty Nigga Dem A Rude, Dem A Chat Bout Me"
This line was chatted on "Fight Fe Come In" by James Bon & General CP on UB40's 1985 release "Baggariddim".

Also take in mind that "Nigger" was taken from the word "Negro" of course meaning "Black". In reality the word should hold no real weight, but society teaches us at a young age that it does.

Every philosophy that the Europeans or the "white men" have been using to downpress the black man was taught to them by other Africans. Who's better to downpress a black than another black?

The pieces that has never been told or comprehended is that Willie Lynch, the Ku Klux Klan, & the National Front all have something in common. They get their philosophy from Africa, and if they got it from a white man, he got his philosophy from Africa.

If You read The Book of Genesis & Exodus, you will learn that Africans have been enslaving other Africans way before the Europeans came to Africa. They saw something that they never seen before; not only power, but control over people. And they wanted that power, so they made friends with those black oppressors, they bought, traded, ate, and drank with these Africans in power in interest to learn of their ways. All the while deceiving not only blacks, but whites as well into thinking it was black vs. white. When really to them it was Rich over Poor, and they spread their evil philosophy to white and black to gain control by blinding them with hatred and racism, and all these other isms.

If you look at the time line you will see white people went from "Nigger do this" and "Nigger do that" to "Whats up my nigga?" Nowadays they even refer themselves as "Niggas", but how many blacks do you see refer themselves as "Honkeys" or "Crackers"? Slim to none! The truth has been right in front of our faces the whole time; we just have to wake up and see. We are the children of Israel, we are the real Jews, we are the leaders in every generation. Even in bondage, because the ones who are putting us in bondage learned their ways from Egypt (a place in Africa).

Ha ha, sorry all you curious people, but some times these things take time, you know?

The song is Big Youth - Weeping In the Night, from the album Ride Like Lightning 1972-1976 http://roots-archives.com/release/777

This race is not for the swift
Nor the battle for the strong
But for those who can endure
Weeping come in the night

But joy will commeth in the morning
Love is what we need today
A some more love as I would say
I said ah me Mr. Moody
I never want to be no Rudie

Same way
Same moody moody
Ah give me give me love
I said
To give me give me love
Some more love as I would say
I beg ya give me give me love
Some more love down there today
It's the blessings of love
I beg yeh
Love from above
I beg yeh
Give me give me love
A little little bit of your love
I said
To give me, give me, give me, give me love

Aah baby give me love as I would say
To give me give me love
I says a love and happiness
Says a give me give me love
To love it to your mama
You got to love it to your papa
Or love it to any man you see walking on the road
Or love it to each and every one of them as I would say
Come on brothers and sisters
Come and get some more love down there today

Your love is what you need as I would say
I beg ya give me give me love
I beg ya give me give me love
And go away with your ire
I beg you go once to hate for(?)
I beg you give me give me love
Woah baby
Some more love as I would say
Ah love is what you need today

Yeeah
Everbody want to be a big shot
Yeah
Every one of them want to live on beverly hills
Every one of them want to drive an automobile
Like the old sayings say
Everybody want to go to heaven
But none who want to die
Some more love we need as I would say
Some more love down there today
Come to love as I would say

Yeah
You just go busting on I say
Saying nigger
Yeah
But I'm black
And whether you call me niggra or negro
I'm just black
Yeah

To love as I would say
A better black black love
A better black black love
So blacka so blacka
Blacka so blacka
So blacka so blacka
There..

So blacka black there
So blacka back there
It's the black black love
I said the black black love
Hey
Some more love as I would say
Some love down there today
Give me love and happiness
Why can't we stay together
Yeah
Why can't we live and love each other

Jacob Miller - Tenement Yard

Dreadlocks can't live in privacy
Anything him do, old nigga see
By the way, I am pretty positive Jacob sings:

"Dreadlocks can't live in privacy
Anything him do, old near-guy see"

I read these Tenement Yard lyric on the internet too, someone posted it as a youtube comment for the video. I say it's bullshit. I don't know what he says though. Sounds like "negotiate" to me, but that doesn't make a lot of sense I guess.

Every lyric page on the entire internet seems to have copied their lyrics from an other side, so the mistake (if it is one) is everywhere.

He definitely sings old nayga ( nigga)

nayga is (was) used very commonly in Jamaica as a derogatory term to to describe backward thinking, ignorant, uneducated, superstitious (country) people.

old nayga = a gossiping, conniving integer.
