Johnny Osbourne - Folly Ranking - VP/Greensleeves 2013 LP

Post by cvac »

Did anyone else get a copy of this that was pressed off center? My copy is definitely off center, enough to cause the tonearm to waver back and forth. Wondering if the entire run is like this...

Buy the CD. They're never off centre and they sound better than snap, crackle and pop.

I'm no vinyl purist. I would've gone for the CD if it were easily available, but it's not. From what I gather it's only available on a 4XCD set with other artists that seems to sold out in the U.S. The only place I found it is from a European seller...would've cost me ~$40+ with shipping and I'd have to wait a month for it...so yeah in this case it was easier to just buy the LP for $14 shipped.

The 4CD box set ("Rootsman Vibration At King Jammy's") is available from Amazon UK:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rootsman-Vibrat ... B00CXWZ9YU

Remember that you don't have to pay VAT when ordering from the U.S., it will be 20% cheaper than the price displayed when you checkout, so even with shipping it shouldn't be too expensive. It would be something like $24 in total with the current price, not too bad...? (And the other three titles in the box are good as well.)
