Edi Fitzroy Meets Roots Radics dub reissued soon!

Glory glory hallelujah. This holy grail dub album is going to be reissued finally.

According to the producer Trevor Bassa it will be released in April of this year. Lovely Edi album but what made the set for me mostly has always been the Radics playing brilliantly on it. Can't wait to hear how the dub counterpart sounds.

Do you know on what formats it will be released? Only vinyl or also cd?

Sounds interesting.What's it to be called? track list? Is this different from "Gussie P Meets Roots Radics" album on Musical Ambassador?

It will at least be vinyl it seems. The new Horace Martin LP has been released on vinyl. It looks really good. Hadn't this month been the worst one economically for me I'd order it right away.

jj: I don't know to be honest. I guess it will mimic the tracklisting from the original release. But rather likely will have new mixes due to the old masters being damaged.

Musical Ambassador would be my guess since it comes from Mr. Bassa himself.

I'm still interested to know if anyone can answer jj's question above: Are they the same mixes as the ones on "Gussie P meets Roots Radics" (which is available on itunes, btw)?

Not the same mixes, at least not all the way through. I don't know if it's entirely newly mixed or only the songs that couldn't be salvaged from the master.
