Hello all,
I struggle to find a name and artist of the song I attach a sample from. Please note that this is NO an original song. I recorded this sample on a computer and it merely imitates the original, but I hope someone will finally help me to identify this song ...
I'm searching for this for about few years now. I would LOVE to find that song, and then possibly the whole album!
In original song bass line was quite immersive, and vocal line [imitated by violin pick in my sample] was a male voice in mid-tones.
I've heard this song once in a bar which do not exist anymore, so I can't ask an owner. This song just moved my heart ... to me it was perfect dub song. It seemed quite clean and not "clicky", like old dub songs, if that is of any help.
Thanks in advance for any help!
I attach a sample:

Re: Please help to identify an artist and a song
That surely is a short sample and not even original - difficult task! Might be a shot in the dark but based on your sample and your statement that it was a clean production and didn't feel like an old tune I got a feeling it could be something by a New Zealand based band like Fat Freddys Drop, Black Seeds or Salmonella Dub. Chance would be even higher if said bar was located in NZ or Australia. They have developed their own style of dub down there which for many Jamaica-focussed reggae heads is under the radar.
I'm not an expert for mentioned bands so I can't tell you "it's probably this or that song". Give it a try on youtube or spotify, keep us updated & good luck!

Hi and thx for your reply. Appreciate it.
Unfortunately, none of those bands is in fact that band, which I regret. Well, guess I'll have to continue my journey to find the right one. Although I've kind of lost my faith that I can find it

Re: Please help to identify an artist and a song
Anyone know the dancehall-ish/reggaeton-type song that I'm 99% sure says something along the lines of "Pleh. Let the music pleh." It's not Shannon. Sounds more like Capleton, Beenie Man (I think, more of an older reggae fan), and their ilk.
Please help!
