So does anyone know anything of this Sonia Pottinger produced "Black Rose" album that is supposed to have legendary status as I am pretty sure I have never heard of it.
I`d be interested to know the tracklist.
Thanks
Dave

First time I see a photo of a label from a supposedly released version. But if I remember correctly (nearly?) all songs were included in this release:

Re: Cultre "Black Rose
The tracks on the Front Line 2013 "Culture Unreleased Cuts" 7" will most likely be included. (Burning / Can´t Study The Rastaman.)
Side one on the (imaginary?) label seems to be:
(All are indeed on "Trod On")
Black Rose (aka Stand Up And Fight)
Burning (aka Blood In A Babylon)
Jah Alone A Christian
(Wipe Your) Weeping Eyes
No Sin

The tracklist for Black Rose only adds 3 tracks to the above:
Children Of Israel
Still Rest On My Heart
Can´t Study The Rastaman (as assumed)

Greetings,
the Living Dub is indeed the Sylvan Morris PRE-3 1979 mix.
Also released as Original Living Dub Vol. 1 on Burning Music in 2002.
The Third World bonus tracks are a must have, some tasty dubs and previously unreleased tracks.
Also the Paragons Dubwise is not to be missed, Sly & Robbie in fine style mixed by the great Steven Stanley.
Sound quality is excellent throughout, with informative linernotes by Harry Wise.
The price is nice too. I bought them for €7,50/€8.
Recommended wholeheartedly!
Peace,
DJ

I didn't buy the Culture (yet) as I have all 4 albums already.
But judging by the other releases in this "series" (they are grouped together on the tray-inlays of each release) I don't doubt that it also is excellent.
