Culture "Black Rose" Front Line Virgin LP

Post by vlad »

Has anyone ever seen this as a vinyl LP, as portrayed on the recently issued "The Virgin Front Line Albums" CD cover?

Impossible to trace anywhere, making me wonder if it was ever released, or if Virgin created a dummy cover for the CD.

To be crystal clear, this is the holy grail:

That Discogs entry is newly created, for example the picture is "scanned from the CD reissue", so no evidence this has existed.

(Maybe you were being ironic...?)

This seems very likely. But I don't know for sure.

No way this was ever released without any info/proof having shown up in the past...
...and I was a BIG Culture fan from 1978 on.

This was never released.
The booklet notes and also the blurb on Amazon make it clear that it was shelved.
