What do you want to know exactly? Big fan of the song.

The name JAMAL refers to the PNP-funded literacy project which I guess was put in effect around that time. He chats about how his parents couldn't afford to put him in university/college but he still was able to be full of knowledge thanks to the JAMAL project (which he refers to as Gully College – the gully is where poor people live). It's a deejay cut to Delroy Wilson's »Things in the Dark«.

Production and year of release is of course visible on the label. Can't remember if the band is mentioned on label but it is the Black Disciples.
