It's definitely enjoyable with some very nice rockers rhythms on it. The dub to Dillinger's Warrior being the stand out cut (and one of few minor chord productions if you check for that kind of stuff). But generally it's quite a lively rockers affair with some active dub mixing. Been some time I listened last to it.

I'm a bit surprised this one gets reissued though since it wasn't too long ago it had been reissued already.

Hmm, are you perhaps mixing this up with *Sledgehammer Dub* now...?

I am thinking of Rock-A-Dub. It was reissued approximately the same time as Sledge Hammer dub if I remember correctly. There was some kind of German connection to it but it was reissued on Jamaican Sounds and I remember it having the back of the sleeve in grey instead of in colour (as the original does).

Will try to find it and see if there's a date on it. But I think I might have given it to a friend when I got the original.

Sorry for flooding the thread here. This is the issue I'm talking about and it's not original contrary to what Ernie B's is stating.

I remember picking up my repress copy in a store in 2005 or 2006 and I presume it was re-released around this time as the store mentioned stocked mostly recent releases.
For everyone who loves the rockers sound this is a nice set to have in your collection.

If you're interested which tunes are dubbed here, head over to this thread:

Sorry, I didn't know about that reissue, I thought maybe you just might have had your wires crossed. :-)

I even looked on Discogs before I wrote the above. That one doesn't have a year on it, so I thought it was just an old variation of the original (just like Ernie apparently)...

Well. It's reggae. Nuff wires get crossed. I just try to keep Little John's advice in mind:

Red pon red ah mi seh black pon black. Ah so yuh string a sound. :)
