Re: JAH WARRIOR
Jah Warriors' first album 'Poor Man Story' is real crucial. Nice Sound, good harmonies and real rocking ina english dubbers stylee. Sounds somewhere near Aswad from the early 80s.
If you hear it you can't believe it was produced by 'schlock'-singer Chris Andrews of 60s and 70s 'fame' but it really was. They were a six-piece band with horn section and all.
They followed this first strike in 1984 with an album called 'No Illusion'on their own 'A Record Company'label. The band stayed the same and it was again produced by Chris Andrews. Though some soundchanges in favour of a more modernstyled background were made this is a fine record too, though it hasn't got the same beauty and tightness as their first work had.
I f you can get a copy of either (maybe 2nd hand) grab it, these are highly recommended to all lovers of 'band-played' rootsreggae like its modernistic nowadays.

Are these guys still around? I've herd Poor Man Story, its an amazing album. I want to get in contact with them or their record label because I want to use the song "I don't think we can make it" on a movie sound track.
