Hi!

I can`t answer your question. But Jamaica has the highest music production output in the world. So it must be really a huge number of releases....:-))

whoa nice come back.. guess you always win no matter if its reggae or not, goodone fab. any more bright questions? how about your next question be on the releases of singles? since you only request the amout of albums and to make a guess of 20thousand that was on the dot.

I had hear that between 1970 and 1985 it was about 80 lp (albums and singles) by day maked in jamaica! I think that some very old collectors can have a good idea about, same if nobody will be able to give the true number of curse.
The singles looks umpossible to count...
Jah glu, explain it to iriemystic then :/
Iriemystic, you can be pissed about our sharing affair and stay adult right? Sergio619, its available for you too (as by hasard 2 guys who had probs with me in an extern affair! Idiots, if everybody act as you this forum will be fucked soon...)
Well, my question is very hard and a bit futile but finally after 15 years of collection and exploration i want to know it now, with "who had invent reggae?"/"by where come the name reggae?" etc etc its finally another Graal to find! :)
(if it dont interrest you just ignore this thread then, thanks!)

there are so much unknown albums in U.K and America, but its easiest to count the jamaican band cause it's a small island and always the sames backin band, sames studios so the ones who can answer to your question Fab must be the Hoo Kim brothers (from channel one)but even for them it's a hard hard question !!!!!

But it's true that reggae is a music full of artists, bands, djs so many albums must be done between 75/85
