The album called azania is from 1983 and recorder in breda, Netherlands but published in london under license from Isis music.
Zimbadwe is a wicked steppers 12 inch, they also recorded a 12" with militant barry called rebel.
I have a 12" rally rally round but I never seen the album. If you come across anything from dambala is worth the money, but they are very hard to get.

Hi all,
It's very cool that so many people are thinking about a Dambala comeback or reunion, I am very flattered indeed, but from my point of view it is unfortunately not very likely, as I have not spoken to Gus Anyia for at least 24 years, that's a lot of water under the bridge. Gus and I were the founding members and even though I remained in London for 10 years after Dambala broke up we never tried to contact each other at all, I wouldn't know were to find Gus now, last I heard was that he was playing with Gasper Lawall's band. Thomas the keyboard player dissapeared soon after the break even though Kelvin Lovell (drummer) and I frequently tried to contact him..no luck! Kelvin is now living in Brighton with his family, he sent me an email a year ago and said he was "growing old disgracefully"-:-)I've no idea at all what James St Louis (Bass) is doing now or were he can be found. I now live and work in Oslo (Norway, and yes it is very cold now :-(...) so it is difficult for any of the members to contact me. Of course one should never say never, but it does sound like a logistical nightmare to organise such an event and would take a lot of time effort and not least money to make it happen. I'm not sure if I would say yes or no to a reunion, there are so many variables involved that until I was presented with the scenario...who knows. So if there is anybody out there who thinks they can organise this...feel free to try...:-) that's about all I can say right now.

roms77, as mentioned earlier on in this thread, Jimmy Lindsay was never a member Of Dambala, it's true that we were involved with him in the beginning, but just because he needed a "backing group" after his success with "Easy" so he voiced our first single and we toured with him as backup band one time...he was always an independent artist, and we were all offered a deal from GEM, Jimmy took it, we didnt like the deal so we said no...
