Seems like that album should be a prospect for a reissue then. Quality music should always be out there, that's for sure

and just when you think nothings happening Studio One USA is coming up with the release of a compilation record called 'More Scorcha from Studio One' which contains the only recording Spence ever did for Mr.Dodd 'Contemplating Mind'.
Okay, this album is like pirating your own stuff because it is the second part of the 'Musical Fever' record that came out on Trojan 17 years ago but not only the Barrington Spence track is brilliant stuff, everything else too. Go and grab it !

Not heard that one yet but one day I sure will, I mean Contemplating Mind, known about Musical Fever for some time now. Barrington Spence deserves another chance out there, cross fingers he will eventually come back...

Hi DUDLEY 1NE
Thanks for those. Absolutely love his vocals on "Runaway Girl" although it did take me 22 years to "discover" it was him!
I first heard it on "Reggae Greats - The DJ's" which I bought in 1985 and still play at least once a week! For some reason it doesn't appear to be on RA.

My Favorite track is "Dancehall Music" It sounds more like a Revolutionaries/maxie/GG/Alvin Ranglin produced track
