natiruts is a good band.. nice influence..

the band that i really like in brazil and i can recommend is FIREBUG !

The early Paralamas is really good, I have a vinyl call "Passo do lui", with the music call "SKA".. great song, great band.. sadly now they are more pop music than ska..

A friend of mine was in Florianopolis and saw a gig by a band called "Monstruos do garagem", he said they were really good but I don't know if its a local small band.
