Linval encounters Pacman.
Great CD of course.
Weird to have it named Linval rather than Scientist.

Jah Frankie Jones - Satta and Praise (Third World lp)
I was pleased to pick up an original copy for a reasonable price recently, online of all places. Frankie Jones flew under my radar for a long while but I am a big fan now. Satta and Praise and all four of his shared lps, including Showdown Volume 9 with Midnight Riders, are generally fantastic. His singles are routinely inspired.
Mr. Officer (W&B Records 12")
Never Get Weary (GRT 12")
Ghetto Feelings (Solid Sound 7")
Wicked a Go Run (Redemption Sound 7") -- (titled Time is the Master on the Satta and Praise lp)
Pretty Woman (Redemption Sound 7")
How do You Quit (Hit Bound 12")
Natty Dread Lock Control (Jah B 7")
Chase Them Jah (God Father 7") - same rhythm as Madoo - Dance in Your Area?
Ready She Ready (Scorpio 7")
Gun Fever (Third World 12")
I'm sure there are plenty more.

Mellow Dub (Studio 1 album) - thanks to watching the last night of the proms (don't ask) I now know that the untitled/unlisted track on side one is a version of a latin american tune called Cinnamon Skin (Piel Canela).
