There's a surprisingly big Reggae and Ska scene in Japan these days. Two current favorites of mine are:

Freedom/Junior Dee and Shindounihyaku (Vibration 200)
Freedom Dub/Scientist (yes!), Junior Dee and Shindounihyaku

Dancehall Rock by Junior Dee is also good, but there's no dub (yet).

Peace,

James

Great initiative Seb!

A few ones that come to my mind:

Junior Delgado - Taste of the young heart -> 20:th century DEB wise
Bunny Wailer - Blackheart Man -> Dubsco vol 1
Pablo Moses - Pave the way -> Pave the way dub

Hi everyone,

Israel Vibration-The Same Song/The Same Song Dub
Unconquered People-Dub (though I only know the CD version which is included in Israel Dub)

sorry if this seems a bit obvious...

Cheers

OK, I'm going through the records and CDs to look. Off the top of my head I know I have:
Creation Rebel/Creation Rebel in Dub,
UB40 Present Arms in Dub,
and a whole bunch of other Lee Perry and reissue dub stuff. One question--several albums are dub albums to begin with like "Scientist Meets the Space Invaders", and others have bonus dub versions at the end of CDs, like the reissue of Jackie Mittoo. Or what about re-releases that have one music bed and ten versions with different toasts/vocals/or dubs? Do you have specific parameters, or does any dub version qualify? And what about albums like "The Ambient Bob Marley"? And to the blogger with the Rico Man From Wareika and dub--I want that dub version!!!!:D
