Linval encounters pacman serious fault

Tracks 12 and 13 on the vocal counterpart CD are unplayable. Track 12 develops a hideous stutter half way throuh and track 13 is an utter write off, same stuttering lyrics as on 12 throughout. Money down the drain. Worst fault I ever saw on a disc.

I was thinking about ordering it for the Dennis Brown "Call me/My love". The dub and Linval's cover of it are excellent.

Yeah coincidentally I just read the same thing on blood and fire board. That really sucks. A lot of reggae fans are furious.

Serves them (Greensleeves/VP) right though... for ripping off Scientist all these years.

I listened to those tracks on Spotify and they play correctly there, so it must be a CD manufacturing problem. Ask for a replacement disc.

Edit: Since, from reading on the Blood and Fire board, it seems this is not just your copy, but possibly the whole run, they need to redo this.

I wrote to VP who advise I take cd back to HMV for a refund. I am in the process of hopefully gaining a refund. I got a letter containing beermats with each of the 6 redone Scientist albums on, from VP.

I had to google what beermats are... whoa that's very nice! I'm thinking about buying the CD too and then claim that I didn't know it was broken, just to get the Scientist beer mats. Cheers!

But be aware of a "fault".
The Vampires mat is minus the album title on the side depicting the album cover!!
Odd to see a picture of Linval where Scientist was, e.g. on the pacman album art, a dreadlocked Linval is sat at home in what was Scientist's house, arm round Scientist's wife..in comes a call.
Linval a session urgently needs rescuing at Channel one.
Aaaright soon come...surreal.
