Tell me about Makasound's...

..."Inna the Yard" Series

The Congos, Chinna Smith, Linval Thompson, Kiddus I, The Viceroys have all released albums on Makasound.

Are they worth getting?

Which is the best? Why?

Most definitely worth Checking.
Great roots revival.
I haven't heard one bad tune from this label.

Are these "Inna de Yard" series songs that were recorded in the 70`s and have just been re-issued or are they 70`s songs that have been re-recorded.

Roots revival tends to make me think that these are 70`s songs that have been re-recorded for release. If this is the case I guess that they are digital and not analogue.

please someone confirm.

Thanks and Respect.

they are new and old stuff and riddims but recorded as the title says inna de yard in its original form acoustic and nyabinghy style
a likke bass and drum no digital ting
all are good the most consistent is Linval and Viceroys for me.
