Coxsone 7''
Does anyone know why coxone released 7'' on so many sublabels i.e bananna,music lab,bamboo.

Most of these labels are not of Jamaican origin but come from England.
End 1960s/start 1970s Coxsone sold licences of his records to quite a few people (Pama Records and Trojan records mostly) in England. These record companies created the labels to add the product to their roster and released Studio One/Coxsone product through them mainly on 7" but also on LP.
