Reggae Artists
ok in this time of music age, most artists know other artists, so now my question is did these reggae artists ever knew eachother ? for instnce when wailing souls would all walk as group in jamaica did they like bump into like the mighty diamonds or viceroys, don carlos, cultura, or black uhuru ?

yes.... they would play tag in the streets. poker, bones.. soccer.. all that goodie stuff together like 1 big happy family then afterwards they will have a bbq.... sit around the park talk about the such and such... then they say hey lets go put out a single so in 20years some1 can pay 100bucks for it.. then BAM in dec. 21 2006 arize ask the question that many artist was wishing to be ask

Most of them grow up together and goes to the same school.
Or meet one and other in the studio's.
Ready some books/intervieuws and see some dvd or video's.

Of course they knew eachother!
Often, they would get together, fix up some old vans, and go steal from the rich to give to the poor.
What, you didn't see Rockers?
Seriously though, I think the 70's roots scene was a fairly small circle, and a lot of artists/producers/musicians would interact frequently. It's fun to imagine what those interactions might have been like.

Not everything is buddy buddy like in rockers....
Still had neigbour hoods representing & districts, so just like in most towns & cities you stuck with your own area, but also faith had alot to do with it. But within those circles there was much much collaboration.
