Who are the Mellolads?

Greetings one and all,
Can anyone give me any information about a group called the Mellolads. There is a song by them titled "Chatty Chatty Mouth" on a cd called "Reggae Train: More Great Hits From The High Note Label."
It's a really amazing tune but I cannot find out anything more about the Mellolads. If anyone would know who they are and what else they have done, someone on this forum would.

they released a range of singles in the 70s when using various names: mellolads, mello lads, or mellows.

I have not heard the CD you refer to, but it is interesting to me cause Chatty Chatty Mouth is a Duke Reid prod. found on the Dutchess label. The track I have on High Note by them is 'mind your own business'

I will have to search for the track you mention. It seems there are few and very far between anything they have done. I hope they are all as good.

'Chatty Chatty Mouth' was produced in the mid 70's by Sonia Pottinger at Treasure Isle studio.

Worth picking up for the amazing dub version on the B side of the single.

The UK 7" on Mango (nothing to do with Island's Mango) miscredits Duke Reid as producer.
