hi! as way i have understood, skatalites (f. example)pre 70's studio recording is by one channel system? i wanna say if they record together at same time. i would know something about this (and when the musics start to record separately)

I just use a good soundcard and a lead from my mixer into the sterio jack and transfer from record to cd. The quality is really good....

Have you maybe missed the point here reggaemusicman? I think the thread is about how early reggae/ska was first recorded, rather than how to record vinyl to digital formats.
