Sadly I have never seen this LP anywhere, I suspect it is aa rare one.

I wondered if anyone out there has it, or has heard it and can confirm, or not, that the mixes are the same as the Island / Mango / Black Swan version.
George Faith - Super Eight - is it the same mix as To Be A Lover?

I wish I had it myself, just for the label.
Though it is the same mix as the Mango release, with the same matrix #.

What about some George Faith over heavy roots riddims like the track "Guide Line"? The full vocal version, the Dub appearing on "Produced and Directed by the Upsetter", and even the very odd dub version on "The Black Ark in Dub" are all very heavy. Does anyone know of other George Faith vocals over heavier roots riddims?
I heard "I got the groove" for the first time the other night. Very nice track! I should probably pick up this album.

I've got several George Faith tunes on various 12s, 7s and LPs. Some of them now playing on my radio station.
I'll dig them all out and list them to you Jah Chicken with my view on their musical and rootical quality.
I think the man is much overlooked. Yes, true, not all his work is 'classic' stuff - but you could say the same about Gregory Isaacs, or even Sugar Minott.
