Ites deh!
I´m looking for a song which probably was released in the 70s.
Lyrics go like...well what kind of world we are living in today...
The riddim is slow and cool.
Don`t remeber more...could it be Ken Parker? Where can I get this song?
Thx for your help,
blessings,
I-Lion

"...is it a world without love?"
The Cables - "What Kind Of World" - http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1592
Don't think it says "...today.." though.
There is a sample here - http://www.amazon.co.uk/What-Kind-World ... F8&s=music
Brilliant album.

I have a disco that goes like that
Wicked roots chune produced by Niney Holness on his own Observer 12". Artist name says Junior Boyce but it is actually Junior Byles (Boyce=Byles)that vocal is immediately followed by The Buckers rocking a sweet version. Nice intro by the band and truly a Sweet Disco!! Hope this helps. JAhadambom

Yes, it is Ken Parker, "What kind of world". Wicked tune. It's a Roy Cousins production. You can find it on the "Visions of reggae" various artists LP, on Tamoki. And on another Tamoki v/a LP, called "Roots of David" there's another cut of the same riddim.

Hi Anbessa
Do you know if it is a version of the Cables song?

Hi,
no it's a totally different tune from the Cables' masterpiece. There are just a few lyrics in common.

jahadambom - is the other side of your Observers 12" somewhat noisy?

Thanks Anbessa. Do like the look of the "Vision of Reggae" album.
