In a forum discussion on the Roots Archives website, I discovered many reggae fans shared their positive feelings when discussing live performances they saw more than 20 years ago! Inspired by this, I decided to check out a box of live recordings I have in my basement; getting of the dust, digitize these analogue recordings and broadcast (pieces of) them on the internet. Hopefully, I can recall some of these memorable moments. Hopefully you will enjoy part 1 of this archiving exercise. Let me know what you think about it.

you can record it, with for example audacity.

to record these streams, all u do is, put your cursor arrow on the windows player box, hold left mouse button down then right click at same time, u are looking for the properties option in the menu that appears, so click properties then highlight the URL then right click and save target as, and thats it.

They have a script built in to stop u right clicking but u can get around this by holding the left mouse button down while right clicking, not alot of people know that! same goes for protected Jpegs.

Roddy, If I had more of the Don Carlos part of this show I would have uploaded it to this site. Unfortunately, that's not the case. If someone is having a Don Carlos recording from this tour, please let me know.
