Hi Leggo Rocker

It really does sound absolutely superb.

If anyone's intersted I'll put up the correct track listing of the CD when I get a chance over the weekend.

Why does this happen? Is it laziness?

I've worked on magazines and seen some horriic errors get all the way past several levels of sub-editing and error checking experts.

So I'm not at all surprised by such mistakes in a genre that's famous for slack standards of quality control in, it seems, everything except for the making of the actual tunes themselves!

Still, I'd rather have a high standard of music and crap peripheral proction than correct track listings of crappy music!

If I wanted that I'd be buying Spice Girl's LPs.

The sound quality on the JA pressed Rockers International LP is very good.

On side 1 of the sleeve & label (& Roots Archives too) the title of second track (Africa Dub) is actually the correct title for track 3, and track 3 (My Mind Dub) is the correct title for track 2.

Hi Jackie P

Yes, I used to have it back in the day. I decided to get the Greensleeves repress as I had heard the sound quality was excellent. A can confirm it is.

Yes, you are right. I don't think the CD, on the other hand, has any tracks that are correctly titled.

Hi Leggo Rocker

I totally agree with you, but do find it a pain when I'm trying (saddo that I am) to put a disc together vocal, dub, vocal etc....

Hey, 6anbatte, nothing at all sad about mixing up your own Showcase stylee. I do it all the time.

In fact I am planning a Showcase Set and a Version Excursion Set for Leggo Rockers Radio.

It takes some thought and a lot of sifting through records. I intend to take a few days off work to make a good go at it very soon.

"Africa Must Be Free.../Africa Must Be Free...Dub" - GRELCD 504

Just "dove-tailed" the two albums on this CD to run vocal, dub, vocal etc and I have been left with the following 3 tracks;
"Why Do Blackman Fuss And Fight"
"Sufferer Dub"
"Western Kingston Style"

Does anyone know if there a) is there a dub cut to "Why Do Blackman Fuss And Fight" out there and b) where have the 2 extra dub cuts come from?

Incidentally, if either "Sufferer Dub" or "Western Kingston Dub" are the dub cut of "Why Do Blackman Fuss And Fight" and I haven't realised please do let me know. My hearing definitely isn't what it used to be!

Any input gratefully accepted.
